Gala Chamber of Commerce Fireworks Display to Launch on Saturday, July 2nd Peterborough, NH

PETERBOROUGH, NH - The Annual Peterborough Fireworks, sponsored by The Petersons Inc., with The Magic Flute Child, Hubert's Family Outfitters, Atlas PyroVision, and the Town of Peterborough, will be held this year on Saturday, July 2nd, at the ConVal Athletic Fields on Route 202, just one mile north of town. With acres of wide open fields, the location gives spectators an up-close-and-personal connection with the amazing pyrotechnic display by Atlas PyroVision. Over the years, this event has become an outing for the entire family, with concession stands serving hamburgers, hotdogs, and soft drinks. The well-known local band, Dave and the Daddy O's, will be there to entertain audiences prior to the display.

The details have been finalized and those in attendance at the fireworks extravaganza will witness a display which has long been known as one of the largest displays in the region. Atlas PyroVision is well known for its fireworks spectacular for the Boston Pops as well as displays in Washington, DC, and numerous other locations around the world. This event is made possible again this year due to the generous donation from Event Sponsor The Petersons, Inc., real estate firm, with gold sponsor The Magic Flute Child, silver sponsor Hubert's Family Outfitters, and corporate sponsors Atlas PyroVision and the Town of Peterborough. Walk-up admission is only $3 per person, with no family paying more than $10. There will be premier parking in the ConVal parking lot for $15 per carload (which includes admission for all occupants). There will be free parking at SMS. Gates open at 6 pm, and the fireworks display will begin at dusk. Because the event is held on school property, no alcohol, tobacco products, firearms, sparklers, or pets are allowed.
